For this large mixed-use residential project, Crain & Associates coordinated with the City of Santa Monica, the City of Los Angeles, and the State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in order to determine which of the roadway improvements in the project’s Conditions of Approval required installation. Due to the installation of a portion of the conditioned improvements by public agencies, Crain & Associates prepared project plans for a subset of the traffic improvements. The plans included traffic signal, striping and signage, and street lighting plans in both Cities. We also conducted traffic signal warrant analyses for several traffic signal plans and traffic control reports for use by the City of Los Angeles. Most recently, we have provided construction administration services.
